when the person you share your bed with,
has lost all desires to understand a woman needs,
no for play or words of endearment,
just a quickie and be done with it,
if he can get it up at all,
know wonder you're always so tensed,
you know it's a cold world ,
when you must start your day,
while still asleep,
trying to beat a traffic jam,
which you always find yourself in,
cursing yourself s-u-v damn,
for following the crowd,
cursive be this traffic jam,
and the gas that rising again,
get to work only to find your boss,
has become more of a jerk,
last night he had your guts for dinner,
now he wants to drink your blood,
all his calls for more you have come to hate,
yet you give in cause bills gotta be paid,
it's a cold world
when your life's' saving,
must go to the doctors who keep you
in trays of pills to keep the pharmaceutical companies ,
filthy rich,
whats left you must spend on up keep of a house,
worst yet you must or will mortgage just to be warehoused,
in a home where the staff often beats your ass,
keeping you so zoned out till you wont even remember,
it's a cold world,
when the kids you raised on MTV video games,
plenty of blood and gore,
just wishes you would hurry up and die,
before their inheritance is all spent,
this world is so cold ,
rather stay a dreamer ,
at lest i can exscape,
